Fantasy Mountain

in this piece we had to recreate a landscape. For my subject i chose a sunset behind a mountain scene. 

if you're not changing, you're not living

 in this assignment we were supposed to include text, so i chose the word 'change' and incorporated several layers and other smaller words in the background.

another choice painting for class. I was influenced by African Art and wanted to achieve a tribal theme.

this is the first time I attempted to paint the human figure. The assignment was extreme lighting and I painted it for my best friends Lana Del Rey birthday thing.
